Diane Birt selected to receive the 2012 Mary Swartz Rose Senior Award

Congratulations to Diane Birt, recipient of the American Society of Nutrition (ASN) 2012 Mary Swartz Rose Senior Award! This award is given to an investigator for outstanding research on the safety and efficacy of bioactive compounds for human health.  She will be recognized for this achievement during the annual Experimental Biology meeting at the ASN Awards Ceremony on Sunday, April 22, 2012 in the Hilton San Diego Bayfront (located at 1 Park Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92102). The ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM. During the ceremony, Birt will be presented with a monetary award and an inscribed plaque supported by the Council for Responsible Nutrition.
