Erin Bergquist and the Dietetic Internship shared their experience in Ghana with The HEN Post, newsletter for the Hunger and Environmental Nutrition group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Erin Roehl, who traveled with the first group of interns from ISU, wrote a piece about the experience of the 4-week rotation in Ghana. Bergquist shared specifics of the program. New grants

Lawrence Johnson (PI, Food Science and Human Nutrition) and Dave Raman (Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering), $10,000 from the University of Arkansas - Integral Valorisation of Bioproduction.

Stephanie Clark (PI, Food Science and Human Nutrition), $6,000 from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities - Assessment of Consumer Perceptions, Preferences, and Behaviors with Fluid Milk Using Experimental Auctions.

Upcoming Events

The ISU Reception at the 2013 Experimental Biology annual meeting will be held from 7:00 - 10:00 pm on Monday, April 22 at the Westin-Boston Hotel. The specific location will be in the EB Program booklet.
