Van Beek Natural Science, LLC has been using ISU to help enhance their production of all-natural animal health care products. Dr. Byron Brehm-Stecher was enlisted to help boost the primary essential oil in a line of products as part of its active compound, while studying other essential oils that would be more effective against specific strains of bacteria.

In addition, Brehm-Stecher combined a natural enhancer to the compounds to further improve the effectiveness. The end result may be that less of the compound needs to be used, therefore reducing the cost to food producers who use the organic feed additives.
