Ruth MacDonald, RD, PhDIowa State University Research ProgramDr. MacDonald relocated from the University of Missouri to Iowa State University in August 2004. The overall focus of our research team is to identify factors in foods that reduce the incidence or progression of cancer. We work with animal and cell culture models that are relevant to human cancers of the breast, prostate and colon. Presently, our work is funded by grants from the NIH-NIEHS, USDA-IFAFS and the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR).
