FSHN Office Procedures - Ordering

CyBuy

The FSHN department is requiring all associates to place orders through ISU’s CyBuy system. Currently the following vendors are available on CyBuy: Fisher Scientific, Sigma Aldrich, Qiagen, Invitrogen, IDT, Dell, CDW-G, Office Max, Central Stores and Chem Stores.

This program has been designed to allow for the procurement of supplies from contracted vendors in a streamlined online marketplace available through AccessPlus. Higher limits, less paperwork, and faster receipt of orders are just a few of the benefits.

Instructions for Purchase Requisition

*A purchase requisition is required for any orders placed with vendors that are not currently available on ISU’s CyBuy system*

1. Document vendor name on Purchase Requisition Form, address and telephone number. Contact the vendor to ensure pricing, availability and catalog number(s) are correct.
2. Enter Date and name of Requestor.
3. Ship To: enter name of recipient of package and choose the delivery address from the drop down menu.
4. Document full fund account used to pay for the order. The section and project number is required. If you do not know the fund account number, please contact your PI.
5. List each individual item separately, including the quantity ordered and the accurate catalog number for that item.
6. Fill in description of item.
7. Enter in cost of item.

A business purpose is required. Please disclose why the item or service is being ordered and where the item will be housed or used. Orders will be placed on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Rush orders should be avoided but will be handled in a timely fashion.
