All hourly associates must be signed up for payroll before beginning work. Please have associates visit Human Resources Services to properly register for payroll.

The associate will be required to bring two forms of ID such as a driver’s license and Social Security card.
** Nonresident aliens- Go to International Students & Scholars Office (3248 Memorial Union) to complete the I-9 form. Do this BEFORE submitting remaining forms to Human Resource Services- Resource Management**
Please review instructions on Payroll Sign-Up available online.
Instructions for Hourly Timesheet- to be submitted on the 15th and the last day of each month.
- Enter student name on Hourly Payroll Timesheet.
- Enter payroll period, for example:

- Please enter in your University ID Number; Social Security numbers are no longer acceptable under University policy.
- Fill in days of the week with the corresponding payroll date and hours worked on that day. Please fill in all of the dates for the pay period. If no hours were worked, enter 0 under hours.
- Enter in the total hours worked by week.
- Total the number of hours worked for the entire pay period and enter under Total Hours Worked for the Period.
- The employee should certify that the information reported is correct and that no more than ____ hours were worked for the period.
- The student should sign and date the form stating the number of hours worked is accurate.
- The supervisor is required to sign and date the form for all hours worked.
- The supervisor is also responsible for disclosing if the student employee is on work study; yes or no.
- A fund account and hourly rate is required for every payroll timesheet submitted.
Once the timesheet has been completely filled out, please turn in the timesheet to Erica Burkheimer in 2312 Food Science Building for prompt processing.
