Major:

"My original major at Iowa State was Psychology, but I switched my major to Dietetics in Summer 2005 because I wanted to learn how the body is affected by food. I enjoy how food science is related to people and how food can affect their mood. I also enjoy studying food and the chemical reactions related to it."

"In the future, I will do an internship and complete my Registered Dietician test. I want to be a professor and do research, work for WIC, plan out nutritional diets in my own business or for the Army, and be a masseuse."

Advice for Future Students
"Figure out for sure what you want to do. Start by taking a variety of general courses. Think of something you're passionate about that makes you want to give 100%. Then focus on a main objective of what you want to do and the steps to get there."

How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these. ~ George Washington Carver (1864-1943)
