Currently there are 72 graduate students participating and various alumni
that have participated in the department of Food Science and Human Nutrition
graduate program.

All graduate students are on research assistantship and eligible for travel grants to present research results at national or international professional meetings
- Various departmental, college and professional society scholarships available
- Well organized club organizations and activities (Food Science and Technology, Nutrition, Culinary Science), and students are actively involved and recognized in various professional organizations
- Consistently nationally ranked IFT College Bowl Competition Team (2nd in 2009) and Product Development Team (2nd, 2009), and newly established Dairy Judging Team
- Graduate international/study abroad program and various interdepartmental programs
- 100% job placement rate for our graduate students
