External Advisory Board:
Faculty provide an update on the learning community, outcomes assessment
program, and changes in learning practices during annual meetings with
the FSHN External Advisory Board.
Professional Organizations:
The food science and dietetics programs in the department are reviewed
every 5 years by the Institute of Food Technologists and the American
Dietetics Association, respectively. Both of these review processes
involve outcomes-based assessment. Learning practices that are developed
as a result of our assessment program are reported as part of these
reviews.
