	Learner Outcomes Home > Student Contributions > Explain and Demonstrate \Students in FSHN 110 (Orientation) and FSHN 340 (Introduction to Dietetics) discuss the use of portfolios to document and reflect upon their accomplishment of outcomes. In spring 2004 student volunteers are helping to test a new system of electronic portfolios, which will be introduced for general FSHN student use in fall 2004. Students in the senior seminar class (FSHN 480) are surveyed regarding their ability and level of confidence in achieving department and curriculum-specific outcomes. (Example of Senior Survey - Dietetics Major) The FSHN 480 class has also served as a focus group in testing a new survey instrument for graduating seniors and alumni that was introduced in summer and fall 2003. The department chair seeks input from graduating seniors in exit interviews regarding the quality of their experiences here, our expectations for student performance, and our means of assessing performance.
