Scholarships are available to incoming freshman from the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition (FSHN) as well as both the College of Human Sciences and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University. Most FSHN departmental scholarships require students to be in the College of Human Sciences. Students need to have declared a major in dietetics, food science, culinary science, nutritional science, or pre-diet & exercise. Academic excellence and leadership activities are the criteria for this award. The FSHN 2009-2010 scholarship deadline was Feburary 15, 2009.
