Nutritional Science looks at the connection between diet and health.
Students learn how diet can play a crucial role in the cause, treatment,
and prevention of many diseases. This program prepares a student to
work in research laboratories or graduate study in nutrition or biological
sciences, or serves as a pre-health professional
program for medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, veterinary medicine,
physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, podiatry,
optometry, nurse practitioner. Students pursuing a preprofessional program
of study are encouraged to contact the admissions counselor at the university
where they plan to complete their practice degree to determine specific

Nutritional Science Curriculum Information
